“You’re the authority on yourself.”
Listen, hunny, I don’t know who needed to hear this but I’m glad it was shared! So often, society teaches us from an early age to subscribe to prescribed expectations. To hear an elder confirm for a younger questioning soul that the ultimate voice for their life is their own was inspiring. This gem and others were shared for us all to reflect and ponder.
